Virtual showroom with AR for trade shows and sales
We developed a virtual showroom for Swisslog Healthcare that brings the complex PillPick system to life through an interactive, full-scale experience. The animations and videos clearly explain the high-tech functions, making it ideal for sales and trade shows.
The Challenge
The PillPick system is a complex medication packaging system measuring around nine meters long and three meters high. Transporting it to international trade fairs posed logistical and financial challenges. Its size also posed a hurdle in terms of sales because it could not be presented to potential customers on site.
The Solution
We developed a virtual showroom for iPads and browsers together with Swisslog Healthcare based on our 3D framework, vZone™. This solution allows users to place the PillPick system in a room at its actual size and interact with it. The showroom also offers numerous functions that explain the complex technology, such as animations, videos, and interactive features that illustrate the processes and advantages of the high-tech system. Sales and trade fair teams can respond to customer questions individually and present complex processes tangibly, anytime, anywhere.

This is an interactive mock-up of a business jet, developed by Lufthansa Technik for international trade fairs, which connects real aircraft hardware with a virtual twin in Unity.
